Title: The genomic signature of sexual conflict
Abstract:
Males and females in many animals differ for a wide variety of traits, and these differences are the product of conflicting selection pressures. Sexual conflict has the potential to shape a broad array of genomic characteristics, including gene expression and genetic diversity. Recent work from a broad array of animals will be present to illustrate the ecological factors underlying sexual conflict, and how this sexual conflict shapes genome evolution.
