Title: Genomics of local adaptation in Medicago truncatula (and its rhizobia symbiont)

Abstract:

I'll present results from a genome-wide scan of local adaptation.  These scans can not only identify genomic targets, but also tell us something about the nature of local adaptation.  I will also present results of simulations aimed to identify what we can expect to miss when conducting these scans.  Finally. I'll present preliminary analyses from a population-genomic survey of diversity in the bacterial symbiont of M. truncatula.
