A position as Associate Professor in bioinformatics is available starting September 1, 2010 at the Bioinformatics Research Center (BiRC), Aarhus University, Denmark. BiRC is an interdisciplinary research center that employs about 35 researchers and PhD students.
The successful candidate must document a strong research record as well as a broad knowledge of the field of bioinformatics. Applicants with a theoretical background in informatics who have experience with empirical work in the application areas of bioinformatics, will be preferred.
The successful candidate is expected to establish his or her own research group and profile, as well as participate actively in collaborations with other researchers at BiRC and Aarhus University.
