I hold a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine, and I am currently a PhD student in the laboratory of Professor Rikke Nørregaard.
My research uses a human ex vivo kidney slice model to characterize chronic kidney diseases. The model preserves human tissue architecture and cellular complexity, thereby strengthening the translational relevance of preclinical studies. It also opens up the possibility of identifying novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of chronic kidney disease.
