More than 25 years experience in Paediatric Research with special focus pathophysiological aspects as well as treatment of childhood incontinence. Other research interests include Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) renal sodium and water handling, childhood hypertension and haemodynamics.
With more than 15 years experience in pregraduate and postgraduate teaching. Currently associate professor in paediatrics, and course leader of the 5th semester (International semester) of the Master studies, Medicine at AU.
My interdisciplinary, international collaboration has significantly contributed to the advancement of our knowledge within childhood incontinence. I am urrently the president of the International Childrens Continence Society an interest organisation that works toward knowledge dissemination and improvement of the health care privision to children with all forms of childhood incontinence.
