Great ape genetic diversity mapped

Deep survey of the genetic diversity of the great apes provides new insights into human-ape evolution millions of years ago – and can be an important tool in the effort to preserve the endangered species. The study was conducted by an international research team including researchers from the Bioinformatics Research Centre, and the results have just been published in the scientific journal Nature.
