Title: Linking non-coding RNAs to the outside and feeding 3D information to the inside.

Abstract:
Genes not coding for proteins, the non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), do often function together with other RNAs and proteins. Furthermore, the structure of the RNA is often required for carrying out the function. In talk I will describe two lines work taken up by the lab: (i) searching associations inferred from physical interaction, expression data and literature mining to other RNAs and proteins and (ii) improving the framework for RNA secondary structure prediction by inclusion of RNA 3D information from so-called modules which are small pieces of 3D structures.
